Matilda - The Musical at Delta Hall
Matilda - The Musical brings Roald Dahl's much-loved story of an extraordinary, book-loving child to the stage. With a book by Dennis Kelly and music and lyrics by Tim Minchin, the musical follows Matilda Wormwood as she faces an unkind world, discovers her own courage and finds that she has telekinetic powers.
Developed by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2010, the production became a major West End success at London's Cambridge Theatre, where it ran for more than a decade. Its accolades include seven Olivier Awards and five Tony Awards. The score features favorites such as “Naughty,” “When I Grow Up,” “Revolting Children” and “Quiet.” Rob Howell's alphabet-inspired set, Peter Darling's energetic choreography and the show's imaginative staging help bring Matilda's story to life.
